Atish holds a B.A., LL. B (Hons.) from the National Law School of India University, Bangalore, as well as an LL.M from Duke University School of Law, Durham, NC, USA. He is a member of the Bar Council of Delhi, New Delhi, and the Delhi High Court Bar Association.
In his professional experience of two decades, he has advised clients across varied functions and sectors, including M&A, Joint Ventures, General Corporate Advisory, Defence Procurement Policy, Media and Telecom, Infrastructure, Real Estate, Project Finance, and Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code, among others.
He has regularly interfaced with regulators such as RBI, SEBI, and central government agencies such as DMRC, Ministry of Defence, DRDO, and ISRO – where he advised on leasing space on satellites.
Atish currently advises Kautilya Finance, a real estate debt fund, on investment strategy, structuring, assessing counterparty risk, and asset management issues. In the past, he has worked with Luthra and Luthra Law Offices, AZB and Partners, and Platinum Partners.
